Ellie Jackson 2nd Place U12 Females Stoke CN

The weekends racing began with somewhat unusual weather for this slope , blazing sunshine a light breeze and temperatures up in the twenties. The unusual conditions had spectators running for suncream & sunglasses instead of the usual jacket and wellies.

Kirran was the only Telford entry into the U18 males but one athlete was all that was needed as he managed to take 1st place with nearly a second between himself and his nearest rival. Christian Stevenson fought well in a large age group of U16's to hold down a 6th Place. In the Under 14 Category Edward Guy finished the day with a 10th place.  In the Boys Stubby races both Joshua Law U12 & Matthew Williams U10 continued their improvement both athletes finishing 5th.

Telford only managed to field one female athlete on the Saturday in the U14's category. with a 7 second lead on the combined time Grace managed a convincing win.

Sundays racing saw the Telford ranks swell slightly with the addition of Ellie & Neil Jackson in the U12 Female and Masters Male Categories.

Once again Kirran managed to stamp his authority on the U18 field coming away 1st. Christian secured another 6th Place and Edward improving on his previous result moving up to 8th position. Neil Jackson secured a 5th place in the Masters.  Josh Law managed to recover from a crash on his first run that left his first time decimated however with excellent 2nd & 3rd Run times and in a group of exceptionally talented athletes Josh manged once again to secure a 5th place.

Ellie worked hard through the Stubbies producing some fairly consistent times and producing a 2nd place podium. Grace had more of a fight on her hands but managed to stay far enough infront of the competition to bring home another 1st place.

Nice Head Gear!.
