Indoor GBR races at Manchester

Two GBR events took place at Manchester indoor slope, this weekend.  Charlie Deem and Ellie Jackson represented Telford on Saturday.  Charlie skied well in a very strong and competitive U12 male age group.  Ellie had a superb first run, achieving 2nd place but unfortunately, on the second run, left one of her skis in the start gate, so lost all her advantage.  Iona Brickley joined Ellie and Charlie on Sunday, and all three juniors produced two solid and fast runs.  Safe in the knowledge that her bindings had now been ramped up, Ellie produced probably her best skiing on indoor snow to date, and secured second place in the highly contested U14 female category.
